Tibetan Rites of Rejuvenation - Ancient Secret of the Fountain of Youth - No experience necessary
We will be practicing a series of five ancient Tibetan exercises. These simple movements restore youthful health and vitality by balancing and harmonizing invisible energy vortexes (chakras) within the body. I will start by sharing a brief story about the discovery of the Five Rites. Following is a demonstration of each rite. You will get a chance to practice and take home a complete routine. The Five Tibetans represent a great way to keep your body in shape when you have limited time for a physical workout. With practice, you can do the whole routine in 15 minutes.
Thai Yoga Therapy is a highly therapeutic and deeply relaxing form of bodywork, it combines aspects of Yoga, acupressure, and assisted stretching. It is practiced slowly, on a specially designed Thai Yoga Therapy Mat placed on the floor, with the client dressed in loose-fitting clothing.
I will be working on you using my hands, elbows, forearms, knees, and feet to release your shoulders, lengthen your spine, and open your hips. It can feel like a nurturing, effortless Yoga practice in which your body is moved in and out of postures, enticing your muscles into gentle stretches and your mind into deep relaxation.
Dance Meditation is a gentle yet effective way to release stress and tension. It is best done around the sunset with your eyes closed. You will be given detailed instructions. It is best to have an empty stomach, wear comfortable yoga clothing and no shoes. Bring a Yoga mat. No dance, yoga or meditation experience necessary. Come by yourself, with a friend or a partner.
